How do u teach a broken heart to stop running?

When all it sees is broken promises and “illusions”…

Was it her fault for being true?

Her fault for being good to you?

The pain revives itself with every pump of this heart…

It wants to be whole again…

But it can barely hold on to the crumbling parts..

Its happening again..

Everytime is a hope of something new…

A hope of meeting one of those few

That can heal the brokeness, and take away the pain….

Lies, its all lies….

still a dim light of love so true…

in my dreams i see arms open wide that i can run to…

true love where are you?
